Early 1890s
Brethren in Christ group migrated from Kansas and Oklahoma to Upland, California.
1949
Beulah College was renamed Upland College, continuing its mission of integrating faith and learning while offering innovative programs and extracurricular activities.

1975
The property was sold to Astara, a “new-age” movement.
2019
The center was renamed Pacific Community Center to better reflect its mission of serving the entire community. This phase marked a shift in focus toward serving the broader community through faith-based activities, family programs, and athletics.
September 6, 1920
Established by the Brethren in Christ Church at the corner of Arrow Highway and San Antonio Avenue in Upland, California, Beulah College served as a West Coast satellite campus for Messiah Bible School and Missionary Training Home, offering a strong Christian education and various academic programs

June 30, 1965 & 1967
Due to financial difficulties, Upland College closed its doors. The property was subsequently sold to the Salvation Army in 1967.

July 1994
The Brethren in Christ of the Pacific Conference repurchased the property and established Pacific Christian Center, marking a new phase focused on providing spiritual and community services.
Today
Today, Pacific Community Center operates as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, offering diverse programs such as youth education, sports, community resources, and volunteer opportunities. It has become a central hub for community engagement, providing a space for worship, education, and a variety of community services.
